Using fire to light

In this photo shoot, I didn’t use any strobes to light the subject except for the background. Instead, I used fire to light the shot. Strobist info: 6 sec at f/22 with Iso 400. 580exII with gelled grid spot behind the subject to light the background.

First thing I made sure of when in this photo shoot was to expose the subject at a long shutter speed in order to blur the flames and have a nice effect. I pushed the aperture to f/22 in order to compensate for the long shutter speed. In this shot, I only used Isopropyl Alcohol so no drink would be wasted. =D
